Today I read a book about Genghis Khan.

1.) Genghis Khan was a famous person in Mongolia and the leader of the biggest army in the world.

2.) Genghis Khan was born 1162, near Lake Baikal, Mongolia died August 18, 1227.

3.) Genghis Khan was one of the famous conqueror in history.                                                                                                                   

Today I learned how to times big numbers

Today I solved big numbers with big numbers for example.

896 x 705 = 631,680

1004 x 4089 = 4,105,356 

1254 x 3452 = 4,328,808

1954 x 2598 = 5,076,492

A trip to the museum: Term 2 week 9

On Monday the 28th of June Room 2 went on a trip to the museum. We all went outside of the hall and waited for Mrs Thomas to come. when we saw her, we all started to rush to the vans and all the girls and 1 boy went on the small van and the boys went on the big van.when we arrived to the museum we all walked up the stairs and when we got to the top of the stairs we went to a room where we can eat before we go in to the museum.after our eating time this guy name Aaron took us up stairs and took us to this place were he told us what started World War 1 and during the war.after he explain everything we all split into group and my group was with mr saa. we went to the volcano place and there was a house that look so so suspicious when I went inside the house it look so fake but it was a example of a earthquake.we explored the museum and the fun part was when we got to go through the city and after that we all went to mac Donald and Mrs haioti gave all of us a frozen coke and I was very happy.I just remember that I had 5 dollars in my pocket so i went to buy my friends a hot chocolate and then we went back to school and finished the day with sidelines.

            

how to use a venn diagram: Term 1 week 10

how to use a venn diagram

1.draw two big circle's connecting to each other

2.write down two topics on top of the two circle's so they can compare each other for an example:lion and cheetah.

3.For an example: write down inside the circle's facts about each animal then when you are done write in the middle of the the 2 circle's whats the same about them.

Science: The Ice ball experiment

 On Wednesday afternoon we had two ice ball's in each sink,we had to buddy up with each other and my partner was Smolley. Mrs haioti told us to take the balloon and what I then was just to put water on it.it popped and Smolley put food coloring on the ice ball and after the food coloring started to bleed into the ice ball.I put salt first and after the salt started to look like crystals on the ice ball.smolley started to put baking powder and the ice ball made the baking powder hard.after Mrs haioti took a video of us throwing the ice balls all together.ice ball video
